The State University of New York at Upstate Medical University is soliciting sealed bids for modifications to the existing electrical systems at the Institute for Human Performance (IHP) building. The project includes providing a new 300A Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), installing a 150 kVA Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), connecting to existing utility switchboard and Power Distribution Unit (PDU), and installing a new 480Y/277V emergency power distribution switchboard. Additional work involves equipment upgrades, parts replacement, preventive maintenance, remote wireless monitoring of UPS, shunt trip breaker panel and activation connections, and power feeders.
