(specified for SBS modified bitumen roofing system, or approved equivalent) - OMG Roofing Products (specified for Hercules-Plus Aluminum Retro Drain) - Products/Services Requested: - Complete removal and disposal of existing ballasted EPDM roofing system - Installation of new 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roofing system (Soprema Inc. or equivalent) - Includes adhered thermal/vapour barrier substrate board, self-adhesive vapour barrier, insulation, composite cover board/base sheet, base sheet flashings, cap sheet and flashings - Wood blocking, curbing, and miscellaneous woodwork - Sheet metal flashings and trim (pre-coated galvanized steel) - Polyurethane joint sealants (ASTM and CAN/CGSB compliant) - Retrofit aluminum roof drains with vortex breaker technology (Hercules-Plus by OMG Roofing Products) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - 15-year full system warranty on roofing system - 5-year warranty on joint sealants - Building must remain occupied and operational during installation - Compliance with all safety, insurance, and environmental regulations - Contractor must provide a construction schedule and delivery dates - One-year warranty period post-completion - All work must comply with applicable codes and by-laws

The University of New Brunswick's Capital Planning & Operations Department is soliciting bids for a roof replacement project at the Tweedale Centre on the Fredericton Campus.
