Description

Iowa State University, on behalf of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department, is soliciting bids for a hyperspectral imaging system. This equipment will be used in their dairy science research program to acquire high-resolution near-infrared spectral images of cheese and other dairy products for non-destructive characterization of composition and quality attributes. The system will support the development of predictive models, process monitoring, and graduate student training in advanced imaging, chemometrics, and artificial intelligence. It is strongly preferred that the system be delivered, installed, and fully operational no later than August 30, 2026.
