NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, through the NASA Shared Services Center, is seeking small business vendors for the fabrication and delivery of custom Lower Wing and Elevon Heater Carriage components. - Government Buyer: - National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) - Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) - NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) - Products/Services Requested: - Precision fabrication and delivery of over 60 unique, custom-designed mechanical parts for Lower Wing and Elevon Heater Carriages - Each item specified by detailed part numbers (e.g., FLL-HPROJ-0126-101, FLL-HPROJ-0135-101) and quantities - Key items include: hinge bearing adapter plates, bearing channels, frame weldments, heater brackets, actuator mounts, panel adapters, support beams, and locking mechanisms - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All parts must be manufactured per NASA-provided technical drawings (drawings available only to qualified parties able to handle Controlled Unclassified Information) - Completion required within 12 weeks after contract award; status updates every three weeks - Set aside for small businesses; compliance with export control laws is mandatory - Proposals must include quality and manufacturing process plans - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; all parts are custom per NASA design.
