The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is conducting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the manufacturing and assembly of proprietary metal smelting furnaces for the Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF). The scope includes manufacture, assembly, testing, quality assurance, packaging, delivery, and ongoing support of the furnaces. SRC seeks qualified firms with proven track records to provide the product economically and timely, with potential for a long-term partnership including future production scaling and support. The evaluation will consider qualifications, experience, capacity, methodology, safety, references, Indigenous inclusion, pricing, and scope estimates. The contract may be awarded to one or more vendors and is not subject to competitive bidding laws.
