Description
The Department of Health and Human Services has rechartered the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV) in accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The renewed charter is effective from July 21, 2026, and authorizes the commission to operate until July 21, 2028. The ACCV provides advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on policy, program development, and other matters related to the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.
