The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is seeking small business vendors to supply and install new playground equipment at Wallashuck Campground, Lake Red Rock, Iowa. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Red Rock Project Office - Products and Services Requested: - Composite playground structure (1 unit) - Designed for children ages 5-12 - ADA accessible, with multiple play features (slides, climbers, sensory panels, shade roof) - Must meet ASTM F1487 standards - Rubber mulch playground surfacing - 100% recycled rubber, brown color, ADA approved - Must meet ASTM F1292 standards for safety - Covers entire use zone at specified depth - Underlayment fabric for playground surfacing - Installed per manufacturer recommendations - Supply, delivery, and installation of all above items - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All materials must be new and sustainable, meeting EPA and USDA biobased content standards - Playground must be ADA accessible and compliant with relevant ASTM safety standards - Completion required by November 1, 2026 - Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, excluding federal holidays - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated; vendors must propose compliant solutions

Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure Playground Equipment with delivery and Installation at Lake Red Rock in Knoxville, IA to be complete by 1 November 2026.

This procurement will be based on Lowest Price that can meet the desired requirements and specifications in the Statement of Work that is attached.

The NAICS code is 339920 with a size standard of 750 employees.  Product Service Code is 7830.  

Vendors must be 100% Small Business only.

Any late offers or offers that do not reflect what is specified in the Statement of Work will not be considered.
