Description

The City of South Lake Tahoe is seeking professional governmental accounting technical consulting services to assist its Finance Department with complex accounting matters, implementation of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements, and preparation of supporting documentation for accurate financial reporting. The consultant will provide expertise, research, analysis, and recommendations on governmental accounting issues, including compliance with GASB standards such as Statements Nos. 72, 87, 96, and 101, as well as future standards. Services include evaluating accounting issues, interpreting standards, assisting with calculations and documentation, and supporting the implementation of new standards.
