The City of Casa Grande, Arizona is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firm for the Casa Grande Aquatics Complex project. - Government Buyer: - City of Casa Grande, Community Services Department, Office of the City Clerk - Project Scope: - Pre-construction and construction management services for a new aquatics complex at the Community Recreation Center - Facility features include a heated recreational and competitive swimming pool, water slides, lazy river, ramada spaces, picnic patio, family pool with zero-depth entry, and spray playground - Services Requested: - Pre-construction phase: design collaboration, value engineering, scheduling, development of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), identification of long-lead procurement items - Construction phase: general contracting, procurement of materials and equipment, schedule management, quality control, safety, permitting, and project management - Unique Requirements: - CMAR must submit a detailed CPM schedule within 10 days of Notice to Proceed for pre-construction and within 30 days for construction - GMP proposal required within 180 days of Notice to Proceed - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; qualifications-based selection - City reserves right to reject any or all responses and to determine suitability of services and materials

Description

The City of Casa Grande, Arizona, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Construction Managers at Risk (CMAR) to provide pre-construction and complete construction services for the Casa Grande Aquatics Complex. The project includes the construction of a heated, recreational, competitive swimming pool and may include additional amenities such as water slides, ramada spaces, picnic patio, family pool with zero-depth entry, lazy river, and spray playground. The CMAR will work with the design team during pre-construction to develop final plans, provide value engineering suggestions, develop a guaranteed maximum price, and manage construction through to completion. Responses must be submitted by August 11, 2026, to the City Clerk at City Hall.
