The Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation is seeking bids for a comprehensive exterior renovation of the Visitor Center at Long Hunter State Park in Hermitage, TN. - Government Buyer: - Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation, Facilities Management - OEMs and Approved Brands: - James Hardie (fiber cement siding and trim) - Pella or Anderson (windows) - ETO Doors or equivalent (commercial-grade wood doors) - Lithonia Lighting or equivalent (lighting fixtures) - Sherwin-Williams or PPG (exterior paint) - Products/Services Requested: - Demolition and removal of existing exterior elements (gutters, siding, windows, doors, insulation, HVAC line sets) - Installation of approximately 3,500 sq ft of James Hardie board-and-batten fiber cement siding and trim - Installation of 1 new 48"x60" sliding window and 10 insulated double-pane glass units (22"x86"), all Low-E, Argon-filled, Energy Star rated - Installation of 1 ADA-compliant commercial-grade wood entrance door (ETO Doors or equivalent) with automatic operator - Installation of 1 Lithonia Lighting or equivalent outdoor ceiling light with photocell and motion sensor - Installation of seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts (6-inch gutters, 5-inch downspouts, leaf guards) - Construction of a 70 sq ft concrete pad (5 ft x 14 ft, 3,000 PSI) - Relocation and covering of HVAC line sets with medium bronze aluminum trim coil (approx. 100 linear feet) - Painting of all new exterior surfaces (approx. 3,500 sq ft) with Sherwin-Williams or PPG exterior acrylic latex paint - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to specified or pre-approved equivalent brands for key materials - All contractors and subcontractors must hold active Tennessee Building Contractor licenses - Warranty required on workmanship and materials - Coordination with Facilities Management for all modifications and approvals - ADA compliance for entrance door and threshold - Project cost expected to exceed $100,000 - All work must comply with state-approved building codes and standards
