Description

The City of Camas is seeking a qualified consulting team to develop a Climate-driven Wildfire Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Plan along with community education materials. The project involves assessing future wildfire risk due to climate change, mapping wildfire risk and vulnerability within Camas, identifying climate-adaptive risk mitigation strategies, and delivering education and outreach to improve community resilience. The plan aims to support the City's draft Comprehensive Plan Climate Change & Resiliency Element and build community resilience against wildfire impacts. The project is funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce's Climate Planning Grant and has a budget of $230,000.
