The U.S. Air Force at Shaw Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to provide, install, and manage high-speed broadband internet services for nine Unaccompanied Housing (UH) dormitories serving 728 service members. - Government Buyer: - United States Air Force, 20th Fighter Wing, 20th Civil Engineering Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base - Products and Services Requested: - Installation of a new independent fiber-optic network infrastructure to each of the nine UH buildings - Managed Wi-Fi distribution throughout all dormitories - Fixed broadband internet access for 728 rooms, meeting or exceeding FCC minimum speeds (100 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload) - Optional use of 5G or Non-Terrestrial Network routers if fiber/cable is not feasible - Network operations and maintenance with a 95% monthly uptime SLA and 6-hour major outage restoration - Captive portal access control, web filtering per DoD policy, VPN compatibility - 24/7 direct-to-resident technical support (hotline, web portal, or app) - Digital opt-out mechanism for residents, processed within five business days - Monthly performance reporting and random speed/system checks by the government - Notable Requirements: - Complete new fiber backhaul to each building's Main Distribution Frame - Mandatory site survey within 30 days post-award - All services must be fully managed, with the contractor responsible for end-to-end operations - Financial penalties for failure to meet performance standards - Contract includes a 3-month phase-in period and four 12-month option years - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the procurement is open to qualified providers capable of meeting the technical and service requirements.

This requirement is for the mandatory broadband internet access for nine (9) Unaccompanied Housing (UH) facilities on behalf of 20 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) located at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), South Carolina.
