This opportunity is for the procurement of comprehensive mechanics tool sets for military maintenance operations at Fort Hood, Texas. - Government Buyer: - General Services Administration (GSA), Supply Chain Management Contracting Division - OEMs and Vendors: - GMS Industrial (OEM for GM1024D tool set) - GearWrench (primary tool manufacturer for set components, MPN MEGAMOD1024) - Products/Services Requested: - Five (5) complete Mechanics Tool Sets (GMS Industrial GM1024D or equal) - Each set includes a modular professional technician tool system - Major components: ratchets, sockets (6-point, 12-point, deep, flex, stubby, impact), wrenches (combination, ratcheting, stubby), extraction tools (Bolt Biter), screwdrivers, pliers, hex keys, storage cabinets (52-inch and 26-inch GSX rolling cabinets), workstations, modular trays, and portable lighting - Most tools are GearWrench brand (MEGAMOD1024) - Detailed quantities for each tool type (e.g., 85 6-point chrome sockets, 102 driver bits, 28 screwdrivers, 23 modular trays, etc.) - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must quote all five sets for award consideration - Products must meet or exceed the salient characteristics specified in the RFQ - Delivery is FOB Destination to Fort Hood, TX - No unique technical requirements beyond the comprehensive tool set configuration and quality standards

General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Direct Demand Contract Solutions Division is issuing this RFQ for a total of 5 Mechanic's Tool Set, GMS Industrial P/N GM1024D, or Equal.  Please see attached RFQ documents for Product Salient Charateristics, terms and conditions.  NOTE:  YOU MUST COMPLETE AND SIGN BOTH ATTACHED RFQ DOCUMENTS.  COMPLETE DOCUMENTS MUST BE  RETURNED NO LATER THAN DATE AND TIME OF RFQ CLOSING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.  FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR QUOTE NOT BEING CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.  QUOTES RECIEVED AFTER DATE AND TIME OF CLOSING \WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  For questions regarding this requirment, contact Jim Dear at jim.dear@gsa.gov
