This opportunity is for emergency spill response services at Scott Air Force Base and surrounding areas: - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 375th Contracting Squadron (AMC), 375 Air Mobility Wing, Scott Air Force Base - Scope of Services: - Emergency Oil and Hazardous Substance/Hazardous Waste (OHS) spill response, sampling, containment, cleanup, neutralization, collection, removal, documentation, and disposal - Coverage includes both on-base and off-base (within 25 miles) incidents resulting from base operations - Emergency laboratory analysis by certified labs (Illinois EPA ELAP or US EPA Contract labs), including sample collection, transport, chain of custody, and reporting (24-48 hour turnaround) - Annual spill response exercise support, including simulated spill scenarios, fieldwork, and after-action reporting - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must provide all trained personnel, equipment, and materials - Compliance with all federal and state environmental regulations is mandatory - Ability to respond to emergencies both on and off the installation within the defined area - Participation in annual spill response exercises and preparation of after-action reports - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, part numbers, or purchase quantities are identified in the solicitation - This is a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 562211 - Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable criteria

Description

The 375th Contracting Squadron (PKB2) at Scott AFB, IL is contemplating an award to provide emergency Oil and Hazardous Substance/Hazardous Waste (OHS) spill response, sampling and cleanup services for Scott Air Force Base (SAFB) and resulting from operations of SAFB that take place off-installation within 25 miles. The government intends to issue an award to the responsible offeror who provides an offer meeting the requirements of the acquisition.
