The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources is seeking proposals for the installation and management of Level 3 DC fast electric vehicle (EV) chargers at two public transit locations. - Government Buyer: - State of Rhode Island, Office of Energy Resources - OEMs and Vendors: - ChargePoint is specified as an acceptable OEM; equivalent manufacturers are permitted - Products/Services Requested: - Four Direct Current (DC) fast chargers (Level 3), each capable of charging four EVs simultaneously at 150kW - 2 chargers for Pawtucket/Central Falls Commuter Rail Station parking lot - 2 chargers for Warwick Park & Ride parking lot - Site work, electrical connections, and furnishing of all equipment - Initial station activation and configuration - Prepaid five-year Commercial Cloud Plan Subscription for station management - Prepaid five-year ChargePoint Assure or equivalent maintenance/support service - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Each charger must support simultaneous charging of four vehicles at 150kW - Five-year prepaid subscription and maintenance/support required - Equivalents to ChargePoint products and services are allowed, broadening competition - Turnkey solution including installation, activation, and ongoing management

Description

The Office of Energy Resources is seeking a vendor for the installation of two Direct Current Chargers capable of charging four electric vehicles simultaneously at 150kW, including site work, electrical connection, and furnishing. The chargers will be installed at the Pawtucket/Central Falls Commuter Rail Station parking lot and the Warwick Park and Ride parking lot. The equipment includes initial station activation, configuration service, a prepaid Commercial Cloud Plan Subscription for five years, and five prepaid years of ChargePoint Assure or equivalent. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM at both project sites. The response due date for proposals is June 16, 2026.
