Description

AAFC requires the development and update of a new pivot and linear irrigation system to replace and expand the existing system at the Vauxhall Research Farm in Alberta. The project includes repairing and upgrading existing tile drainage and installing new irrigation systems with remote operation and monitoring capabilities. Five existing pivot crop irrigation systems need replacement as they do not provide the required coverage for AAFC's research program. The existing pump house is in disrepair and cannot meet the requirements of the expanded coverage areas.
