The Bureau of Land Management, Winnemucca District Office (Department of the Interior), is seeking a contractor for the Fire FY26 Owyhee Fuel Break North Herbicide Fuels project. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Land Management, Winnemucca Field Office, Nevada - National Interagency Fire Center - Project Scope: - Vegetation treatment services to reduce wildfire risk - Application of Imazapic herbicide (liquid or dry granule) over 2,878 acres of BLM-administered lands - Contractor must provide all herbicide (Plateau, Panoramic 2SL, or Open Range G), equipment, labor, and GPS tracking systems - Products/Services Requested: - Liquid Imazapic (Plateau or Panoramic 2SL): 8 oz/acre (approx. 179.9 gallons total) - OR dry granule Imazapic (Open Range G): 18.5 lb/acre (approx. 53,243 lbs total) - Approved deposition aid and water for application - GPS DGPS navigation and data logging systems - Submission of pesticide application records and GIS shapefiles - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must hold a Nevada Commercial Applicator License - Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations - Firm-fixed price contract, set aside for small businesses - Work must be completed within the specified performance period, subject to weather and government approval
