NIST's Ion Storage Group is seeking to procure a specialized AlH+ Photodissociation Laser to support advanced optical frequency standards and precision ion measurements. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Physical Measurements Lab/Time and Frequency Division, Ion Storage Group - Product Requested: - One (1) AlH+ Photodissociation Laser - Continuous wave (CW) laser at 360.4 nm ± 0.1 nm wavelength - Minimum 20 mW output power - Power stability under 2% over 8 hours - TEM00 spatial mode beam (M2 1.1, divergence 1.0 mrad) - Includes all necessary cables, heat sinks, USB and RS-232 ports for computer control - Compact, plug-and-play design with minimal alignment required - Delivery & Performance: - Delivery required within 6 weeks after receipt of order (ARO) to NIST Boulder, CO - Firm-fixed price contract; evaluated on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict wavelength and power stability specifications - Must be suitable for precision scientific applications with trapped ions - Plug-and-play usability and minimal alignment for ease of integration - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments.
