Description
Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC), Code 410A Procurement, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Fairbanks Morse Defense (Fairbanks) for an Emergency Diesel Generator Crankshaft Assessment for the ALCO Model 251C. Fairbanks Morse Defense is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for these engines and maintains proprietary technical data, specialized procedures, and has certified parts required to perform the engine block assessment. The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 12 and FAR part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, and the business size standard is $16.5 million (annual revenue).
The ALCO 251C engine is designed and manufactured by Fairbanks Morse Defense.
