The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking to procure a specialized hyperspectral imaging camera for research use in Hilo, Hawaii. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - Acquisition and Property Division (APD) - Product Requested: - One (1) Short-wave infrared (SWIR) hyperspectral imaging camera - Must cover 1000-2500 nm spectral range - Minimum 245 spectral channels - Spectral resolution of 7.7 nm (FWHM) or better - At least 640 spatial pixels - F-stop 1.8 or lower - Includes 25 mm or similar objective lens - Must be compatible with Resonons large sample benchtop scanning system and Spectronon Software - Turnkey or near-turnkey integration required - US-based customer service required - Notable Requirements: - Camera must integrate with existing Resonons system - Delivery required within 60 days of award to Hilo, HI - Evaluation based on lowest price technically acceptable and past performance - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named, but compatibility with Resonon systems is required - Procurement is open to all responsible sources (unrestricted)

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0145 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a hyperspectral camera.

This acquisition  is not set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 334516  The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.  This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
