The U.S. Military Academy at West Point is seeking a contractor for the restoration and maintenance of two historic cannons from the Visitor's Center. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Military Academy, West Point - Scope of Work: - Remove two historic cannons from the Visitor's Center - Transport cannons to contractor's facility - Fabricate handling fixtures for safe movement and restoration - Perform blast cleaning to industry professional standards - Apply multiple coatings: - Zinc prime coating - Macropoxy 646 - Poly 250 final coat - Preserve the historic appearance and elements of the cannons - Deliver restored cannons to Dobco at Goethals Hall for installation - Additional Services: - Empty waste tank every other day - Provide twice-weekly cleaning and restocking of trailer interior supplies - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Specialized handling and restoration of historic artifacts - Fabrication of custom handling fixtures - Use of specific industrial coatings (zinc prime, Macropoxy 646, Poly 250) - Secure transportation and preservation of historic features - Contractor must report manpower via the Army Contractor Manpower Reporting Application - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are mentioned - No products are being procured; all requirements are for specialized services

West Point Military Academy has the need for two historically significant cannons to be removed from the Visitor's Center, taken to a facility to be blast cleaned, coated with multiple coating & finishing products & then securely transported back to USMA.
