DFAS Seeks IBM Cognos Analytics Instructor-Led Training Services

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), part of the Department of Defense, is seeking vendors to provide instructor-led training services for IBM Cognos Analytics software. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) - OEM Highlight: - IBM (Cognos Analytics software) - Vendors must: - Deliver live, instructor-led and virtual synchronous training on IBM Cognos Analytics (versions 11.2.x or 12.x) - Provide certified instructors with at least 3 years of IBM Cognos experience - Offer courses including: - Author Reports Fundamentals (6 sessions, 72 students annually) - Author Reports Advanced (2 sessions, 24 students annually) - Overview of Dashboards (1 session, 12 students annually) - Working with Data Modules (2 sessions, 24 students annually) - Ensure training is available both CONUS and OCONUS - Provide virtual labs, curriculum updates, and course materials in non-proprietary electronic formats - Ensure all materials are 508 compliant and compatible with JAWS software - Be a registered NASBA CPE sponsor and issue CPE credits - Supply a training facility with no-cost parking and meet DoD/DoW security requirements - Notable Requirements: - All instructors must hold IBM Cognos certification - Contractor must manage any subcontractors with government approval - Training must be accessible and inclusive for all participants

This is a Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information (RFI) only. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is conducting market research to identify qualified and capable vendors that can provide comprehensive IBM Cognos Training services. DFAS requires a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive instructor-led training for IBM Cognos software. The training must equip DFAS personnel with the necessary skills to effectively utilize Cognos for data analysis, reporting, and operational support.  The vendor must be a registered NASBA CPE sponsor and have the ability to provide materials in a non-proprietary electronic format and your approach to ensuring all materials are 508 compliant, including support for JAWS software. For additional informaiton, please refer to the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
