Description

The City of Newberry invites sealed bids for the construction of the Industrial Park Pump Station Replacement project. The work includes clearing and grubbing, site grading, installation of a 900 GPM duplex self-priming centrifugal pump station with valves and piping, a standby diesel bypass pump system, gravity sewer and forcemain installation, demolition of the existing pump station, construction of a pump control building with electrical, HVAC, and SCADA/instrumentation, installation of a dual auger screen and compactor, and sediment and erosion control. Bids must be submitted by August 25, 2026, and a pre-bid conference will be held on August 6, 2026. Funding is provided by a principal forgiveness loan from the SC State Revolving Fund and local funds, with applicable SRF requirements.
