Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requests a reliable vendor to supply One Single Ramp (OSR) and Rear Deployment Deck (RDD) Elevated Tactical System over a 5-year ordering period. These Elevated Tactics Systems (ETS) systems shall maximize the FBI’s tactical advantage and operators’ safety during multi-level structural interventions by eliminating tactical bottlenecks of traditional ladders. These non-negotiable capabilities are required to successfully execute high-threat, multi-level structural interventions.
This is a Sources Sought notice/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government because of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited.
The summary is as follows:
The contractor shall provide new, Elevated Tactics Systems (ETS) that produces three (3) core outcomes:
Delivery of a dominant assault force: Simultaneous entry and instant stack positioning. Radical Reduction in Time-On-Target: Compressed timeline and mechanical speed. Maximum Operator Survivability: Mobile cover and reduced physical fatigue.

The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. The FBI is interested in obtaining information from industry. Both large business concerns and all categories of small business are encouraged to respond to this request. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated for this requirement is 336999 – All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing and small business size standard in number of employees for the selected NAICS is 1,00 employees
