Description
The Securities and Exchange Commission is amending its rules delegating authority to the Commission's staff to further modernize these rules. The amendments aim to better reflect the way the Commission conducts its business and to more efficiently use the Commission's resources. The rule consolidates certain administrative functions within the EDGAR Business Office and delegates authority to the Director of the EDGAR Business Office and the Director of the Office of Municipal Securities. The rule is effective July 26, 2026.
