Description
The Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, has initiated a countervailing duty investigation on certain choline salts from the People's Republic of China. The investigation aims to determine whether imports of these choline salts benefit from countervailable subsidies conferred by the Government of China. The scope covers all forms and purities of choline salts capable of delivering the nutrient choline. The investigation includes 43 subsidy programs alleged by the petitioner and involves 92 companies identified in China. The preliminary determination will be made no later than 65 days after the initiation date, July 14, 2026.
