Description
The Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary, has submitted an Information Collection Request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The ICR concerns the reinstatement with changes of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Registration Form, which simplifies the IRB registration process by removing the IRB membership roster information collection. The purpose is to provide a simplified procedure for IRBs to satisfy registration requirements under HHS and FDA regulations. Public comments on this request are accepted until August 19, 2026.
