The Military Sealift Command Special Mission Program Management Office in Norfolk, VA is seeking sources for a U.S.-flagged host vessel to support Naval Special Warfare operations and training based in Virginia Beach, VA. - Government Buyer: - Military Sealift Command, Special Mission Program Management Office, Norfolk, VA - Primary Requirement: - Charter of one U.S.-flagged host vessel for Naval Special Warfare - Vessel must support Dry Combatant Submersibles, SEAL Delivery Vehicles, RHIBs, PWCs, CRRCs, and diver operations - Berthing for 45 personnel plus crew - 24/7 operational capability - Endurance for 45 days at sea without resupply - Equipped with launch/recovery systems, cranes, moon pool, hyperbaric chamber, and mission support facilities - Services Required: - Vessel operation, navigation, maintenance, hotel services, food service, laundry, cleaning, safety and security programs - Port services reimbursable by the government - Notable Requirements: - Vessel must be U.S.-flagged and able to operate continuously for extended periods - Contract is firm fixed price with reimbursables - Period of performance includes a 1-year base with two option periods (up to nearly 3 years total) - No specific OEMs or commercial vessel manufacturers are named in the solicitation - All technical and operational specifications are detailed in the attached document
