This opportunity is for small businesses to provide crane rental and operator services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at airport facilities nationwide. - Government Buyer: - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - AAQ-710 Logistics Center, FAA Aeronautical Center - 6973GH Franchise Acquisition Services - Scope of Work: - Multi-year, multi-award IDIQ contract for crane services with operator - Services include installation of weather caps, cab glass, and radar equipment on Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT) and shelters - Crane operations required at various heights (from ground level up to 350+ feet) - Tasks include lifting heavy shelters, glass panels, radar equipment, and personnel baskets - Mobilization, demobilization, fuel, tolls, permits, crane mats, blocking, spreader bars, and compliance with airport and safety regulations are required - Deliverables include detailed lift plans, CAD drawings, operator certifications, and crane inspection documentation - Products/Services Requested: - Mobile crane rental with licensed operator (capable of lifting 4,000–6,000 lbs to heights up to 277 feet and above) - Glass lifting devices with counterbalance for window installation - Personnel lifting baskets for specialized tasks - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Ability to manage five simultaneous, geographically diverse projects - Submission of five Organizational Experience Questionnaires (OEQs) for each crane height tier - Prior lift plans with CAD drawings and technical data required - Strict compliance with FAA, OSHA, and airport safety/security regulations - Insurance and bonding capacity required - No specific OEMs or vendors named; open to all qualified small businesses - Contract Structure: - 5-year term (1-year base + four 1-year options) - Task orders issued as needed; pricing set at task order level - Zero minimum order guarantee; contract ceiling set at award

Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires a 5-year Multi Award Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity, (IDIQ) contract for crane services at Airport related facilities across multiple locations within the United States to install Weather caps, Cab glass on ATCT Towers and Shelters in accordance with the Statements of Work attached.

This Procurement is 100% set aside for SMALL BUSINESS interest. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort is NAICS 238990, All other Specialty Trade Contractors, 19MIL is the standard size.

Please read the attached Solicitation in its entirety. Follow the instructions outlined in Section L (Page 61) for submitting a responsive proposal and Section M (Page 67) for the Evaluation Factors and Criteria. Pricing will be determined at the Task Order level.
