Description

The University of Michigan is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers for food service and catering operations at the University of Michigan Center for Innovation (UMCI) in downtown Detroit. The contract is expected to be for a seven-year period with an option to extend for one additional three-year period. The UMCI is a new academic and research facility opening in Fall 2027, designed to serve as a public-facing hub for research, education, and community collaboration. The facility will operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and select Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing caf, dining, grab-and-go, and event catering services.
