The City of Toledo DPS/Urban Beautification is seeking a firm to conduct a Smart Tree Inventory for approximately 150,000 trees within the public right-of-way of about 1,154 street miles and 300 acres of open park spaces. The inventory will utilize advanced technology such as LiDar, high-resolution cameras, and machine learning to gather detailed data and create a comprehensive digital record of the urban forest. Certified arborists will assess the data to establish the condition, health, and priority needs for removals and pruning. The results will inform future budgeting, planning, and workload management.
