The City of Edmond is seeking bids for a large-scale concrete paving reconstruction project across multiple city streets and locations. - Government Buyer: - City of Edmond, City Engineer's Office and Finance Department - Scope of Work: - Reconstruction and widening of concrete streets, driveways, sidewalks, and alleys at various locations - Installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps and sidewalks - Diamond grinding of concrete pavement for ride smoothness - Flood mitigation through driveway elevation - Traffic striping, induction loops, and pavement markings - Site clearing, grubbing, and mobilization - Products/Materials Requested: - High Early Strength (HES) concrete pavement (8" and 6"), aggregate base, curb and gutter, ADA curb ramps, concrete sidewalks (4" and 6"), solid slab sod, induction loops, traffic striping (multi-polymer, 6" and 24"), and pavement striping arrows - Quantities include: 22,942 SY of 8" HES concrete pavement, 3,531 SY of aggregate base repair, 1,567 SY of ADA curb ramps, 4,938 SY of diamond grinding, and more - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with ADA standards for accessibility - Performance, statutory, and maintenance bonds required - Electronic bid submission only via the city's online portal - All work must adhere to city plans and specifications - Project includes an alternate for sidewalk gap completion and panel replacement on Shirley Lane - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; materials are standard for civil construction and concrete paving - Eligibility: - Open to all qualified contractors with experience in municipal concrete paving and reconstruction
