Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking bids for a comprehensive Community Park Signage and Wayfinding project across thirteen city parks. - Government Buyer: - Salt Lake City Corporation, Department of Public Services, Architecture and Construction Management Division - Project Scope: - Furnish and install unified, bilingual (English-Spanish) signage and wayfinding elements at 13 city parks - Parks include: City Creek, Cottonwood, Jordan, Liberty, Poplar Grove, Riverside, Donner Trail/Rotary Glen, Westpointe, Herman Franks, Lindsey Gardens, Popperton, Rosewood, and Sherwood - Signage types: orientation/welcome signs, horizontal and vertical naming signs, rectangular naming signs, monument signs, regulatory dog park signs, wayfinding directional signs (auto and pedestrian), and large free mount naming signs - Quantities include: 30 orientation/welcome signs, 18 horizontal naming signs, 28 vertical naming signs, 30 rectangular naming signs, 7 monument horizontal naming signs, 15 regulatory dog park signs, 15 auto wayfinding signs, 12 large pedestrian wayfinding signs, and 1 large free mount naming sign - Site work includes: demolition of existing signage, fabrication and installation with footings, regrading and resurfacing trails, irrigation head work, timber and boulder retaining walls, concrete steps, metal railings, crib walls, and streambank slope protection - Requirements: - All signage must be bilingual (English-Spanish) and comply with ADA and universal accessibility standards - Integration with existing park signage and utilities is required - Project must establish a cohesive, attractive, and accessible image for the park system - Substantial completion required within 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, excluding winter shutdown days - Bid security of at least 5% is required; value-based procurement program applies - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; the opportunity is open to all qualified signage fabricators and construction contractors
