Description

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is undergoing a significant technology transformation, migrating all unified communications and contact center operations. As part of this transition, the VA must preserve, manage, and provide compliant access to hundreds of millions of legacy call recordings currently stored across three on-premise platforms: Calabrio One, Avaya, and Verint. These recordings must be retained in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) mandates, with variable retention policies by call type including crisis, benefits, and healthcare interactions. The VA needs a solution that extracts, decrypts, and standardizes its legacy recordings into an open format, consolidates them into a single compliant archive, and allows the decommissioning of these platforms once the contact center migration is complete.
