This opportunity seeks a contractor to install fiber optic conduit and cabling infrastructure at Mount Rainier National Park's Paradise area. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior - Mount Rainier National Park, Division of Administration & Business Services, Information Technology & Telecommunications Branch - PWR - OLYM MABO office - Products and Materials Requested: - One 48-fiber optic cable (~6,900 feet, including slack) - Two 12-fiber optic cables (~2,300 feet and ~2,500 feet) - Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 PVC conduit (various segments, including heavy-duty and standard) - Six new subsurface vaults (handholes), with both heavy-duty and medium-duty ratings - Services Requested: - Installation of all fiber optic conduit and cabling as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) - All labor, materials, equipment, and related costs included as a lump sum - Testing of installed fiber (Tier 1 and Tier 2 optical loss tests) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - 20-year manufacturer warranty on installed fiber optic cable - Excludes cable terminations and electronics - Compliance with telecommunications equipment prohibitions under the John S.
