Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
Per RFO Subpart 32.706-1(a), the Contracting Office hereby notifies prospective vendors that this solicitation will be subject to RFO clause 52.232-18 “Availability of Funds (1984)”
Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
1.0 Description of Services
The Contractor shall provide scheduled laundry services for the 647th Logistics Readiness Squadron (647 LRS). The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, materials, and transportation required to pick up, process, and return laundry to its origination point. Laundry will be identified by quantity, category, and location.
At a minimum, the Contractor shall perform the following tasks:
Pick-up & Delivery: Take delivery of soiled laundry from designated locations. Sorting & Treatment: Sort, launder, de-lint, and perform any required special handling or treatment services. Finishing: Dry, condition, iron, and/or fold laundry to professional standards. Maintenance: Perform minor repairs as necessary. Packaging: Count, pack, and protect clean laundry to prevent contamination during transit. Return: Deliver properly cleaned and processed laundry back to the designated originator.
All services shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
2.0 Period of Performance (PoP)
The period of performance for this contract action will consist of a one (1) year base period and four (4) consecutive one-year option periods. Prospective offerors shall submit pricing for the base year and all subsequent option years.
