This procurement opportunity is for Level I/SUBSAFE bronze metal bars for critical shipboard systems, managed by DLA Maritime - Puget Sound and the U.S. Navy. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard IMF Maintenance Facility - U.S. Navy, DLA Maritime Puget Sound - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs are named; products must be manufactured to strict standards (e.g., UNS C90300 copper alloy, ASTM B505/B505M, ASTM B824) - Offerors must specify manufacturer name and country of origin - Products Requested: - Bronze round metal bars (UNS C90300, tin bronze), Level I/SUBSAFE, in various diameters and lengths - 3-1/2" diameter, 10 ft lengths, total 60 ft (NSN 9530-00-097-0781) - 5-1/16" diameter, 10 ft lengths, total 20 ft (NSN 9530-01-037-9740) - 2" diameter, 10 ft lengths, total 20 ft (NSN 9530-00-097-0790) - All bars require compliance with ASTM B505/B505M and, where specified, ASTM B824 - Notable Requirements: - Level I/SUBSAFE quality assurance, traceability, and certification for all bars - Compliance with MIL specs or ISO 9000 quality standards - Inspection at source and acceptance at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - Mercury-free material, configuration control, and waiver/deviation procedures - Submission of inspection/test plans, certification data reports, and compliance certificates - NIST SP 800-171 compliance for non-COTS items; COTS items must be identified as such - All documentation and certifications must be submitted via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) - Delivery required on or before the specified date, with a 45-day inspection period prior to acceptance

THIS LEVEL 1 SOLICITATION AND ANY SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS WILL BE POSTED TO THE  SAM WEBSITE: SAM.GOV

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

If choosing to quote, please complete and return the solicitation packet to me by the closing date to be considered.  

IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED RESPONSIVE, THE SOLICITATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

1. Fill out box 17A, then Read box 28 and sign page 1 boxes 30 a, b, and c.

2. Provide your cage code.

3. Please quote FOB Destination Bremerton, WA.

4. Annotate the lead time.

5. Annotate the name of the manufacturer, and the products country of manufacturing.

6. Return this information with your quote.

In order to be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
