Description
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) is seeking a highly skilled contractor to provide coastal construction services. The project involves adding 5,510 cubic yards of beach fill along approximately 1,300 linear feet of rock breakwater living shoreline on the northern shore at the Indian Point Pier southwest of Portland, Texas. The living shoreline breakwaters aim to protect the shoreline and marshes from erosion, wave action, and storm surge, as well as safeguard submerged aquatic vegetation, oysters, and bird habitat in Indian Point Park along Corpus Christi Bay in San Patricio County, Texas.
