Procurement of PIT Tag Antenna Systems, Equipment, and Services for Fish Monitoring

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Regional Office, is seeking to procure advanced fish monitoring equipment and related technical services to support endangered species research and monitoring. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Regional Office (Department of the Interior) - Contracting officials: Johnny Lyons (Contracting Officer), Kimberley Hervat (Contract Specialist) - Primary OEMs and Vendors: - Biomark Inc. (referenced for product compatibility) - Products Requested: - Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tag antenna systems in various styles and sizes (table-top, racquet, portable, submersible, floating, fixed, flat plate) - Must detect 12mm, 134.2 kHz PIT tags at a minimum 18-inch read distance - Must meet MIL-STD-810G METHOD 512.5 for immersion and waterproofness - Must be compatible with Biomark Inc. products - PIT tag-related miscellaneous equipment: communication cables, modems, cases, storage boxes, replacement batteries, solar power systems, charging kits, antenna-attachment kits, thermoelectric generators, installation kits, and other supplies for installation, operation, and maintenance - PIT tag software: must operate scanners, download and archive data, be compatible with Windows 11 and Android, produce open format files (.csv, .txt), include all updates, and support remote reading via cell and satellite modems - Services Requested: - Senior Engineer consulting (3+ years experience with PIT tag antennas and detection systems) - Electronic Technician services (1+ years experience with PIT tag systems) - Antenna Installation Specialist services (1+ years experience on fisheries projects) - Technical assistance for installation, operation, and maintenance of PIT tag antenna systems - Notable Requirements: - All equipment must be compatible with Biomark Inc. products - Delivery required within the Continental U.S. - Software must support both Windows 11 and Android platforms - Emphasis on open data formats and remote data access - Personnel must have specific experience with PIT tag systems and fisheries projects
