NASA Sole Source Procurement: Multicompound Gas Analyzer MGA6 System and Accessories

NASA Langley Research Center is seeking to procure a Multicompound Gas Analyzer MGA6 system, primarily for greenhouse gas and air pollutant analysis. - The requirement includes: - One MGA6-GHG spectrometer (measures CO, CO2, N2O, CH4, H2O at 1 Hz) - S105-MGA, POSTDATA-MGA, and S2040/MGA modules - Vacuum pump (S100-MGA or S110-MGA, depending on sampling rate) - Thermoelectric water-chiller (A120-MGA or A130-MGA) - Installation service (S920-MGA) - Packaging and shipping (S940-MGA or S960-MGA) - Fast scan option upgrade for 10 Hz operation - Spectroscopy software extension for data processing - The procurement is planned as a sole source to Bruker Scientific LLC, the only identified provider of the MGA6 system. - The acquisition will use FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures, with performance at NASA Langley Research Center. - The NAICS code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). - Responses to the capability request are due by 7/21/2026 to determine if competition is possible. - The period of performance is 28 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).
