Description
Sacramento County Department of Health Services (DHS), Behavioral Health Services (BHS), is conducting an Open Enrollment to identify qualified psychiatrists to provide psychiatric services for youth and young adults detained at Sacramento County’s Youth Detention Facility (YDF). Services include psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and consultation with YDF staff, in compliance with Title 15 of the California Code of Regulations. Providers must be licensed physicians with board certification or eligibility in child and adolescent psychiatry and meet specified minimum qualifications. Contracts will be executed on a rolling basis through July 1, 2028, with funding limited to approved direct service costs and no guaranteed minimum volume or funding.
