The Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service (IHS) Oklahoma Area, is seeking to enhance laboratory testing at multiple outpatient facilities in Oklahoma and Kansas through a placement agreement for Biofire Spotfire PCR analyzers and consumables. - Government Buyer: - Department of Health and Human Services - Indian Health Service - Oklahoma Area Office - OEM Highlight: - Biofire is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all analyzers and consumables - Products and Quantities: - BIOFIRE SPOTFIRE CLIA-waived PCR Analyzer System (includes control stations, modules, accessories) - Respiratory Panel Consumables (Part# 424461 or 423485): multiplex, 30-test packs - Respiratory Panel Mini Consumables (Part# 424589 or 424537): focused, 30-test packs - External Quality Control Materials (Part# M425): positive and negative controls - Quantities are determined at the facility level with minimum purchase requirements, but specific numbers are not provided - Services Requested: - Delivery, installation, configuration, and verification of analyzers - Training for staff - Preventative and corrective maintenance - Application and technical support - All services provided at no cost to the government under the placement agreement - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All analyzers and consumables must be FDA-cleared/authorized and CLIA-waived - Placement agreement includes uninterrupted analyzer service for the contract term - Consumables are purchased based on minimum quantities set annually at the facility level - Contract includes a 12-month base period with four one-year option periods

Description

The purpose of this placement agreement is to provide the laboratory departments for the Oklahoma Area Indian Health Services hospital and service unit locations with Biofire Spotfire FDA approved PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) CLIA Waived analyzers to enhance our testing capabilities and improve patient care. The Indian Health Services (IHS) requires Biofire Spotfire analyzer services without interruption during the term of this placement agreement.  The Oklahoma Area IHS facilities are outpatient federal facilities that provide ambulatory care for eligible Native American patients that are registered for services.
