Howard County is seeking a qualified construction firm to build a new 71,476 square foot Community & 50 Plus Center located at 6365, 6371, and 6379 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD 21075. The project includes construction of the main building and interior spaces, development of parking facilities, installation of outdoor amenities, and completion of all required site work such as utilities, grading, stormwater management, and landscaping. Coordination with County representatives and design teams is required. Bidders must submit an electronic bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the total bid. The contract duration is 610 calendar days with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day.
