The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is hosting an industry day and site visit for contractors interested in upgrading and commissioning the 66.7 Multi-axis Loading Robotic System. - Purpose: Inform industry about the upcoming requirement and gather input for the system's commissioning and commercialization - Scope of Work: - Upgrade and commission the 66.7 Multi-axis Loading Robotic System - Provide and install hardware including: - 2 FlexC 42 Hydraulic Collet Blocks (2000psi or equivalent) - 8 FlexC Collets (4 for flat, 4 for round specimens) - 1 Enerpac PUJ-1200B Hydraulic Pump (or equivalent) - Hydraulic controls, lines, and fittings (including solenoid valve equivalent to Parker 71215SN2MN00N0C111C2) - 2 gallons Enerpac HF-101 Hydraulic Oil (or equivalent) - Adapter plates, steel risers, encoder mounting hardware, bolts, washers - 1 Hammond EN4SD30312GY Mobile Dolly (or equivalent) - Safety shielding (ANSI Z87.1-compliant, 270-degree coverage) - Hydraulic lashing and cable management solutions - Services required: - Assembly and demonstration of the system - Subsystem compartmentalization for commercial manufacture - Creation of digital design files, blueprints, and system documentation - No specific OEMs are mandated; equivalents are acceptable for most hardware - Event includes a demonstration of current system capabilities and a site visit - Registration and further details are in the attachments - No explicit period of performance or contract value is stated, but the scope suggests a short-term, project-based engagement
