WorkSafeBC, the workers' compensation board for British Columbia, is seeking clinics to provide Orthotic Services for injured workers across the province. - Government Buyer: - WorkSafeBC (Workers' Compensation Board of British Columbia) - Scope of Services: - Assessment, fabrication, integration, and education for: - Custom orthoses - Customization to off the shelf orthoses - Custom orthopaedic footwear - Off the shelf orthopaedic footwear - Eligibility Requirements: - Clinics must employ at least one of the following: orthotist, podiatrist, pedorthist, or custom shoemaker - Notable Exclusions: - Off the shelf orthoses are not included in this agreement - An Orthotic Services Agreement is not required for off the shelf orthopaedic supplies - Application Process: - Clinics must submit a Vendor Application Form as specified by WorkSafeBC - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are named in the solicitation

WorkSafeBC is issuing an Orthotic Services Agreement for treatment related to Custom Orthoses, Customization to Off the Shelf Orthoses, Custom Orthopaedic Footwear and Off the Shelf Orthopaedic Footwear. Services include assessment, fabrication, integration, and education to assist Injured Workers in reaching the physical and functional levels needed to return to work and activities of daily living. Clinics in B.C. with an orthotist, podiatrist, pedorthist, or custom shoemaker must submit a Vendor Application Form to provide orthotic services to injured workers after July 1, 2024. Off the shelf orthoses are not included under this Agreement and an Orthotic Services Agreement is not required to provide off the shelf orthopaedic supplies.
