Description
WorkSafeBC is issuing an Orthotic Services Agreement for treatment related to Custom Orthoses, Customization to Off the Shelf Orthoses, Custom Orthopaedic Footwear and Off the Shelf Orthopaedic Footwear. Services include assessment, fabrication, integration, and education to assist Injured Workers in reaching the physical and functional levels needed to return to work and activities of daily living. Clinics in B.C. with an orthotist, podiatrist, pedorthist, or custom shoemaker must submit a Vendor Application Form to provide orthotic services to injured workers after July 1, 2024. Off the shelf orthoses are not included under this Agreement and an Orthotic Services Agreement is not required to provide off the shelf orthopaedic supplies.
