Description
The BC Energy Regulator (BCER) is seeking a qualified proponent to continue and expand its Accelerated Artificial Intelligence (AI) engagement to deliver production-ready, business-driven AI solutions that enhance regulatory processes. The focus is on advancing AI-enabled permit automation, specifically building upon the Permit Application Regulatory Compliance Assistant (PARCA), an AI tool that supports staff in reviewing permit applications by extracting information, identifying compliance issues, and highlighting items for closer assessment. The engagement includes delivering enhancements to the existing AI solution, developing additional AI capabilities, following an Agile development approach, ensuring compliance with privacy and security requirements, and providing knowledge transfer and a roadmap for future AI initiatives. The work will be done remotely and aims to build measurable business value while strengthening BCER's internal AI capability and long-term digital strategy.
