Description
The Village of Ceylon is seeking qualified contractors for a two-part project involving the physical disconnection of the Prairie Pride Community Centre (PPCC) gym from the former Ceylon School and the construction of a new municipal storage building. The project includes demolition and removal of a 14-ft enclosed walkway connecting the gym and school, restoration and weatherproofing of exterior walls, and construction of a 32 ft x 24 ft uninsulated storage building with foundation, tin siding, roofing, doors, ventilation, and a cement walkway. The gym will remain operational during construction, and the school will remain in place. Contractors must provide proof of $2M liability insurance, WCB Letter of Good Standing, a site-specific safety plan, and a detailed schedule. Work begins September 1, 2026, with completion by November 1, 2027.
