Description
The Department of Transportation is soliciting nominations for membership to serve as the State/Local 911 Officials representative on the National Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council (NEMSAC). NEMSAC is a nationally recognized council comprising Emergency Medical Services (EMS) representatives and consumers, providing advice and recommendations regarding EMS to the Department of Transportation. The selected member will serve a two-year term and provide advice on EMS matters including the use of the National EMS Information System, development of federal EMS programs, and EMS system quality improvement projects. Nominations must be received by August 17, 2026.
