Mobile County Public Works Department is seeking bids for a wide range of street lighting and traffic signal infrastructure components. - Government Buyer: - Mobile County Public Works Department (Mobile County Commission) - Products and Equipment Requested: - Steel strain traffic pole assemblies (28 ft. and 37 ft.) with all accessories and hardware - Aluminum luminaire pole assemblies with breakaway supports, truss arms (bolt-on and band-on), and anchor bolts - High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs (Sylvania LU250/ECO, LU400/ECO) and LED luminaires (Cooper Navion NVN-543-740-U-T3-AP-10K) - Photoelectric controls (NSI 2008A, Tork 5500), fuse holders and midget fuses (Mersen FEB-81-91-BA, FEB-11-11, ATM 1.5A-20A) - Surge protectors (HESCO/RLS N-2SP, HE4800) - Ground rods, clamps, and split bolt connectors (Priority Wire & Cable, Thomas & Betts, Blackburn) - Roadway lighting control panels, breakers, contactors, and selector switches (Square D HDL26060, HDL26020, 8903 SM01, 9999 SC2) - Modular fuse holders (Mersen USM2, USM1) - Conduit and fittings (galvanized, PVC), traffic signal heads (1-5 section, 12"), LED signal inserts, mounting hardware, pedestrian signals, sign mounting hardware, signal wire, tray cable, and detection/camera systems - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All materials must meet ALDOT standards and be fabricated in the USA - Approved equals may be proposed for many items, but must be documented and pre-approved - Prices must remain firm for the contract period - Compliance with Alabama Act 2024-278 and residency requirements - Joint purchasing agreement allows the City of Mobile to order under the contract
