The City of Anaheim Public Works Department is seeking multiple consulting firms to provide a broad range of construction-related support services for its Construction Services Division. - Scope of Services: - Architectural facility design, including drafting and design for public works projects - Project and construction contract administration - Construction inspection and management - Project close-out activities and documentation - Specification writing and constructability reviews - Resident engineer services and environmental consulting - As-built and operations/maintenance (O&M) review activities - Routine maintenance and repair of city facilities - Administrative and clerical support - Web-based document and construction management support - Project Types: - Capital improvement, facility and system maintenance, rehabilitation, and private developer projects - Contracting Approach: - Firms will be engaged on an as-needed, on-call, or short notice basis - Lump sum fee proposals may be required for specific assignments - Notable Requirements: - Firms must provide fully qualified and experienced staff - Compliance with the City’s Community Workforce Agreement and skilled workforce guidelines is mandatory - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified consulting firms across relevant specialties

Description

The City of Anaheim's Public Works Department seeks to contract with multiple professional firms to form a team of qualified consultants. These consultants will support the Construction Services Division in architectural facility design, project/construction contract administration, construction inspection and management, and project close-out activities. Services include architectural drafting, design, specification writing, constructability reviews, contract administration, construction management, inspection, resident engineer services, environmental consulting, as-built/O&M review, routine maintenance, clerical support, and web-based document management. Projects may involve capital improvements, maintenance, rehabilitation, or private development projects, with staffing involving a mix of City and Consultant personnel based on project needs.
